On November 20 and 21, 2026, representatives of parents’ associations from various regions of the province will meet in Richmond.
This annual meeting of the Fédération des parents offers an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas on topics of interest to its members.
This will be a unique opportunity to collaborate on strategies and concrete actions to support parents in their volunteer roles. It will also be a chance for the newly elected parent representatives for their associations’ boards to meet members from other regions and gain a better understanding of each other’s realities.

This will also be a time to celebrate and highlight the achievements of parents’ associations and an educator, by presenting two prestigious awards during the opening night on Friday:
- The Martine Galibois-Barss Award, given to a parents’ association
- The Award for Excellence in Early Childhood Education, given to an early childhood educator
On Saturday, members will gather for the annual general meeting. Presentations and a dynamic workshop, which will invite participants to explore the theme of inclusive leadership, will also be on the agenda.
Parents’ associations are invited to reserve the date on their calendar and to start identifying their delegates.
